Kim Westbrook, MD Physician / Founder
Dr. Westbrook is from Laramie and returned to her hometown in 2014 to work as an OB/GYN physician. Helping patients improve their overall health and wellness has always been her deepest passion. Dr. Westbrook opened Ascent Med to begin providing a comprehensive, holistic approach to longevity and aging with grace and self-confidence for everyone. Her husband, Shay, is her greatest advocate. They have 3 extremely active children and a golden doodle to keep them busy outside of work. The Westbrooks love everything active and outdoors!
Erica Wright RN
Erica is a Laramie native and mother of three incredible children. She has been working in medicine for the community of Laramie for over 10 years. She worked as a certified nursing assistant and emergency medical technician prior to going to nursing school. After graduation, Erica worked as an emergency department nurse. Her primary passion is for patient advocacy; helping patients navigate their healthcare with confidence. She focuses on finding ways to balance both their physical and mental health. Outside of work, Erica enjoys reading and riding her bike.
Sarah Reece Aesthetician / CNA
Sarah is a Wyoming native. She was born and raised in Jackson, WY – but has called Laramie home since 2005. She has worked as a certified nursing assistant for 9 years in women’s healthcare. Through that experience, she developed a deep passion for providing care and assisting patients through their individual journeys. She is excited to use her new aesthetician expertise to help those on their aesthetic and wellness journey. She has an amazingly supportive husband and is now a mom of 2 beautiful children.
Kyleigh Bleak Board Certified Cosmetologist
Kyleigh grew up in Laramie and knows this community well. She has a cosmetology license in Wyoming and Idaho which encompasses skin and hair care. Kyleigh is passionate about helping others feel like their best self. She loves walking alongside her clients to bring their vision to life. She is also continuing her education at UW. She is newly married to her husband, Bridger. Kyleigh loves staying active and being outdoors with family and friends. She would take the opportunity at any moment to go on a horse ride in the mountains.
Kelly Wolfe Practice Administrator
Kelly grew up in Denver but lived in Austin, Texas for many years where she met her husband, Tom. When Tom’s job brought them to Laramie over 10 years ago, Kelly was able to come back “home” to the Rocky Mountains. She is an experienced practice administrator, and particularly loves the challenge of starting up a new business. She is passionate about helping people feel great about themselves. She has 3 beautiful children and 3 precious grandsons. Outside of work, she loves her horses and enjoys competing in dressage.
Kaitlin MatthewFront Desk Administrator
Kaitlin is from Santa Barbara, California. Although she moved to Laramie in 2021, she now calls Wyoming home! Her background is in customer service, and she thrives on helping clients in any way possible. She has always had an interest in the medical field, and Ascent Med offers her the opportunity to combine her passion for customer service with medicine. Outside of work she enjoys various hobbies that challenge her, such as her small photography business.
Macy McKinney Social Media Manager - Client Services Specialist
Macy was born and raised in Laramie and is attending the University of Wyoming. Macy is our social media manager and is also trained on some devices at Ascent Med. She is currently getting a business degree in Management and Marketing with a minor in Sales that she hopes to use one day to open her own cosmetology business. She is very passionate about getting people to their goal and making them feel confident in their own skin. She loves traveling with her parents and younger sister. Macy played softball for 12 years and loves sharing her knowledge with younger kids in her spare time.
